Annual Meeting 2020

The NAIGC annual meeting will take place virtually through Zoom on Thursday, April 16 from 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. EDT / 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. PDT. At this meeting, which usually takes place on the Saturday of Nationals, the NAIGC leadership will give an overview of the past year, with topics including the effect of the coronavirus on organization and our financial health, updates on Nationals 2021, Nationals 2022 location reveal, and our many exciting new initiatives we undertook this year outside of Nationals. There will be an additional half hour for open discussion topics immediately following the meeting from 10:00 – 10:30 p.m. EDT / 7:00 – 7:30 p.m. PDT. As in typical years, at least one representative from each NAIGC member club is required to attend the annual meeting. A Zoom link and logon instructions will be sent prior to the meeting.

To Our NAIGC Community,

Given the escalating concern of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NAIGC Board of Directors made the difficult decision not to host the 2020 NAIGC National Championships in Providence, RI as well as to withdraw our sanctions from all upcoming NAIGC sanctioned events. Our top priority is safety for our membership and their communities. We believe that this is the ethical course of action and is in line with the most updated CDC guidelines concerning large gatherings.

We will be automatically refunding all Nationals competition fees and banquet purchases. These refunds will automatically be applied via PayPal and will appear as a credit on the credit/debit card that made the purchase. If you paid with a check, please reach out to nationals@naigc.org and provide us with an address and recipient name we can send the refund to.

If you made hotel reservations through NTS, please cancel via their website. You can also email sportsinfo@nationaltravelsystems.com and give your booking reference number. If you booked directly through the hotel, you will need to cancel directly through the hotel. You can find more information on how to cancel in your confirmation email.

Will the event be canceled?

What about refunds for registration, flight, or hotels?

Registration: We will be automatically refunding all Nationals competition fees and banquet purchases. These refunds will automatically be applied via PayPal and will appear as a credit on the credit/debit card that made the purchase. If you paid with a check, please reach out to nationals@naigc.org and provide us with an address and recipient name we can send the refund to. 

Flights: Each airline will have their own policies on refunds, and many have already begun developing new policies in response to COVID-19. Call the airline you booked through, and they can give you more information on how to change or cancel your flight.

Hotels: If you made hotel reservations through NTS, please cancel via their website. You can also email sportsinfo@nationaltravelsystems.com and give your booking reference number.
