Nationals 2024 Transportation

Albuquerque International Sunport is about a 20-30min bus ride or 10-15min drive from the convention center and hotels.

Here are some tips:

• Flights are cheapest 3 months – 30 days before your departure (~Jan 1 to Feb 28)
• The best time to book a flight is Tuesday at 3pm eastern time
• Booking flights through your university can take a lot of time, so start planning by the end of January
• Travel complications are common, so if you can’t fly direct, make sure you have plenty of extra time to deal with missed connections

A Lyft or Uber from the airport should cost about $20. Surge pricing may occur in the evening around 5pm and on Sunday morning around 10am, so please plan accordingly so you don’t need to pay up to $50.
