• Oak Mountain State Park – nice trails for hiking
• Ghost Tours – fun way to learn about the history of Birmingham!

• Sloss Furnace Historic Landmark
• Tin Roof – great for live music

Public Transportation

Birmingham has a system of buses downtown. The best way to get around using them is to use Google Maps.

Parking

• Sheraton/Westin Birmingham: The Sheraton/Westin has a parking garage available for $28/day.
• Hilton at UAB: The Hilton has a parking garage available for $15/day; rooms booked within our block come with $10 discounted parking.
  • First and second floor of the garage can accomodate vans.
• BJCC: All BJCC parking is $20/day (no re-entry). You can find a full parking map for the BJCC here.
  • Lots P-4 and P-1 are convenient to our hotel and event.
  • Lot P-6 is good for larger vans.
