Finding WAG Judges
General Information (for most states)

What to do:
At least 30 days before the competition, preferably by 10/15 for spring meets:
Create a meet within GymJAS as soon as you have a confirmed date using this template as a guide. Make sure to include as much information as you have, but not everything is required.
Once you have created the meet in GymJAS, email the SJD to confirm submission and see if there is any additional information that they would like.
Some information that the SJD (or meet assigner) may request
- Date and location of competition
- Number of sessions and approximate beginning time of each session (warmup)
- Range of levels offered
- Whether it is Capitol Cup, modified CC or just a regular meet
- How many judges are needed
- For the judges who require overnight stay, what hotel they will be staying at
- 1-2 weeks before competition:Â The number of athletes in each session (broken down by levels is good to have but not necessary)
Dates to Avoid:
Check GymJAS or ask the SJD / a coach from a local gym about weekends of large invitational to avoid.
Fees (by rating):
Pay per hour (min. 3 hrs)
- Level 6/7/8 only: $20/hr
- Level 4/5 and Level 6/7/8: $22/hr
- Level 9: $26/hr
- Level 10: $30/hr
- National: $33/hr
- Brevet: $36/hr
Required break time between scheduled sessions: 30min (max 60min)
Note: Per Diem is only required if meals are not provided.
