NAIGC Board Members are responsible for deciding on strategies to fulfill the NAIGC mission and ensuring the organization is set up for long-term success. Demonstrated experience in non-profit governance and leadership will be considered a strong asset. Being a Board Member is hard work, but it’s also rewarding. Board Members are expected to attend board meetings (usually 9-11 PM EST on weeknights) as well as serve on two of the following committees: Policy, Finance, and Development. This is a 2-10 hour/month time commitment consisting of online video conference meetings and committee work.
To apply for the NAIGC Board, please fill out the application form. To nominate someone else for the Board, you can email their nomination and endorsement to the NAIGC Discussion Email (you must be a member of the “Discussion List” in order to successfully send a email.) More information about the election process and roles within the NAIGC can be found on the Election 2020 page.
